WHO IS RICK PETKO?
You may recognize Rick Petko's face from Discovery Channel's American Chopper Series, but he has now found his home with Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson & Pocono Kustoms. Long before Rick was on the television, he was involved in doing all sorts of metal work. Out of high school he worked in one of Bethlehem Steel’s buildings as a crane operator and a coldsaw operator. From there, he went on to welding school which then he was involved in NASCAR chassis building. Petko stayed local and worked at Pocono Raceway at the driving school for 5 years and with a Hooters Pro Cup race team. He then got involved in industrial contracting relining kilns and furnaces for 10 years up and down the East Coast, from crematoriums to relining ladles to giant heattreat furnaces, aluminum foundry furnaces and precious metal ovens. From there, he then moved on to auto restorations which led him to Orange County Choppers in New York for 13 years. In 2016, Rick left OCC to be closer to home and family and joined up with Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson. Rick now runs the full custom fabrication shop in the dealership.
